SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (426)
WINONA (188), PHILADELPHIA (337), and BROOKHAVEN (120) ON 
Tues May 14, 2019

Receipts:       1,071         Last Week:      1,582        Last Year:    1,952

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower 
and heifers sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. 
The supply included 14 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
