SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (463) and 
COMO (217) ON Wed Apr 24, 2019

Receipts:      680          Last Week:       706        Last Year:   1,057

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher
and bulls sold 1.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 12.00 higher
and heifers sold steady to 10.00 higher. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers 
and 46 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
