SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (565)
WINONA (217), PHILADELPHIA (454), and BROOKHAVEN (61) ON 
Tues Apr 16, 2019

Receipts:       1,297         Last Week:      1,092        Last Year:    1,516

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 higher and 
bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 16 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 59 percent steers and 41 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 18 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
