SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (688), 
FOREST (1,060), MERIDIAN (390), MACON (381), HOUSTON (342), 
WEST POINT (969), AND GRENADA (-) ON Mon Mar 25, 2019.

Receipts:     3,830          Last Week:     3,838        Year:    3,148

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 6.00 lower 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 8.00 lower 
and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 17 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent 
steers and 48 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
