SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (782), 
WINONA (268), PHILADELPHIA (387), and BROOKHAVEN (159) ON 
Tues Mar 12, 2019

Receipts:       1,596         Last Week:      912        Last Year:    1,477

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold 
2.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 18 percent slaughter cows and 20 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
