SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (606), 
FOREST (878), MERIDIAN (367), MACON (271), HOUSTON (120), 
WEST POINT (811), AND GRENADA (81) ON Mon Mar 11, 2019.

Receipts:     3,134          Last Week:     2,039        Year:    2,837

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent 
steers and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 8 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
