SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (555) and 
COMO (276) ON Wed Feb 27, 2019

Receipts:      831          Last Week:        443        Last Year:   745

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 1.00 to 9.00 higher. Feeder steers sold steady and heifers 
sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 47 percent steers 
and 53 percent heifers, with an estimated 17 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
