SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (559), 
FOREST (786), MERIDIAN (369), MACON (239), HOUSTON (109), 
WEST POINT (967), AND GRENADA (75) ON Mon Feb 11, 2019.

Receipts:     3,104          Last Week:     3,580        Year:    1,701

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold 
steady to 6.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 10.00 higher 
and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent 
steers and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 13 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
