SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,383), 
FOREST (2,475), MERIDIAN (524), MACON (474), HOUSTON (267), 
WEST POINT (987), AND GRENADA (141) ON Mon Oct 15, 2018.

Receipts:     6,251          Last Week:     4,886        Year:    4,967

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 58 percent 
steers and 42 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
