SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (471) and 
COMO (295) ON Wed Oct 10, 2018

Receipts:      766          Last Week:      928        Last Year:    1,178

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower
and bulls sold no trend. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 59 percent steers 
and 41 percent heifers, with an estimated 9 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
