SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (743) and 
COMO (185) ON Wed Oct 3, 2018

Receipts:      928          Last Week:      1,049        Last Year:    1,415

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower
and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Feeder steers sold steady and heifers 
sold 1.00 to 6.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 63 percent steers 
and 37 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
