SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (812), 
WINONA (402), PHILADELPHIA (497), and BROOKHAVEN (288) ON 
Tues Oct 2, 2018

Receipts:      1,999         Last Week:       1,507        Last Year:    1,784

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
