SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (907), 
FOREST (1,087), MERIDIAN (731), MACON (421), HOUSTON (221), 
WEST POINT (765), AND GRENADA (185) ON Mon Sep 24, 2018.

Receipts:     4,317          Last Week:     4,788        Year:    5,057

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 higher 
and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 8 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 61 percent 
steers and 39 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
