SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,134), 
FOREST (1,463), MERIDIAN (1,029), MACON (391), HOUSTON (274), 
WEST POINT (560), AND GRENADA (173) ON Mon Sep 3, 2018.

Receipts:     5,024          Last Week:     5,395        Year:    4,847

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 25 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent 
steers and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 8 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
