SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (483) and 
COMO (145) ON Wed Jul 25, 2018

Receipts:     628          Last Week:      756        Last Year:    792


   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher and 
heifers sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 51 percent steers 
and 49 percent heifers, with an estimated 6 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
