SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (928), 
FOREST (904), MERIDIAN (313), MACON (448), HOUSTON (426), 
WEST POINT (681), AND GRENADA (-) ON Mon Jul 16, 2018.

Receipts:     3,700          Last Week:     4,652        Year:    3,763

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 11 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 59 percent 
steers and 41 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
