SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (580), 
WINONA (379), PHILADELPHIA (444), and BROOKHAVEN (376) ON 
Tues Jun 5, 2018

Receipts:      1,779         Last Week:      1,482        Last Year:    1,629

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 60 percent steers and 40 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 20 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
