SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (1,140) and 
COMO (235) ON Wed May 16, 2018

Receipts:       1,375          Last Week:    1,070        Last Year:    1,264

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 15.00 lower 
and heifers sold 4.00 to 16.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 51 percent steers 
and 49 percent heifers, with an estimated 24 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
