SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (757), 
WINONA (450), PHILADELPHIA (575), and BROOKHAVEN (155) ON 
Tues May 1, 2018

Receipts:      1,937         Last Week:      1,535        Last Year:    1,330

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 16 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
