SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (524) and 
COMO (301) ON Wed Apr 18, 2018

Receipts:        825          Last Week:     952        Last Year:     1,334

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower. 
Feeder steers sold steady and heifers sold 1.00 to 8.00 lower. 
The supply included 14 percent slaughter cows and 19 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers 
and 47 percent heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
