SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (696) and 
COMO (155) ON Wed Mar 21, 2018

Receipts:        851          Last Week:     1,175        Last Year:     1,189

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold steady 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 13.00 lower
and heifers sold 5.00 to 12.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers 
and 46 percent heifers, with an estimated 18 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
