SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (725) and 
COMO (450) ON Wed Mar 14, 2018

Receipts:       1,175          Last Week:     869        Last Year:     1,234

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 6.00 lower 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold 
1.00 to 5.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 49 percent steers 
and 51 percent heifers, with an estimated 16 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
