SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (620) and 
COMO (125) ON Wed Feb 28, 2018

Receipts:        745          Last Week:     840        Last Year:     774

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 15.00 lower 
and heifers sold 19.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 29 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers 
and 42 percent heifers, with an estimated 20 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
