SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (708) and 
COMO (132) ON Wed Feb 21, 2018

Receipts:        840          Last Week:     796        Last Year:     587

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 19.00 higher 
and heifers sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 31 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers 
and 47 percent heifers, with an estimated 8 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
