SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (952), 
FOREST (830), MERIDIAN (345), MACON (327), HOUSTON (188), 
WEST POINT (451), AND GRENADA (97) ON Mon Feb 19, 2018.

Receipts:     3,190           Last Week:     1,701        Year:    3,141

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 10.00 
higher and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent 
steers and 47 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
