SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (506), 
WINONA (88), PHILADELPHIA (207), and BROOKHAVEN (177) ON 
Tues Dec 19, 2017

Receipts:       978         Last Week:      1,155        Last Year:    554

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent steers and 48 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 7 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
