SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (924) and 
COMO (420) ON Wed Dec 13, 2017

Receipts:       1,344          Last Week:     647        Last Year:     1,102

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold steady and 
heifers sold 1.00 to 15.00 higher. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 33 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers 
and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 6 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
