SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (381), 
FOREST (787), MERIDIAN (240), MACON (340), HOUSTON (246), 
WEST POINT (433), AND GRENADA (117) ON Mon Dec 11, 2017.

Receipts:     2,544           Last Week:      5,204        Year:    4,314

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent 
steers and 47 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
