SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (452) and 
COMO (195) ON Wed Dec 6, 2017

Receipts:         647          Last Week:     1,326        Last Year:     1,026

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold steady and 
heifers sold 2.00 to 10.00 lower. 
The supply included 7 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers 
and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 9 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
