SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (962), 
WINONA (498), PHILADELPHIA (885), and BROOKHAVEN (283) ON 
Tues Sep 19, 2017

Receipts:       2,628         Last Week:      2,024        Last Year:    1,830

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 8.00 to 10.00 lower 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower 
and heifers sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
