SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (910) and 
COMO (351) ON Wed Sep 6, 2017

Receipts:        1,261          Last Week:    566        Last Year:    746

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower and 
bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 20.00 higher
and heifers sold 1.00 to 10.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 58 percent steers 
and 42 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
