SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (999), 
WINONA (133), PHILADELPHIA (506), and BROOKHAVEN (141) ON 
Tues Sep 5, 2017

Receipts:       1,779         Last Week:      1,883        Last Year:    1,332

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers 2.00 to 5.00 higher and heifers sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher. 
The supply included 14 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 7 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
