SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (937), 
WINONA (267), PHILADELPHIA (475), and BROOKHAVEN (454) ON 
Tues Aug 15, 2017

Receipts:       2,133         Last Week:      1,854        Last Year:    2,056

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. 
Feeder steers 2.00 to 6.00 lower and heifers sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 11 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 56 percent steers and 44 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
