SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (1,186) and 
COMO (245) ON Wed Aug 9, 2017

Receipts:         1,431          Last Week:    1,253        Last Year:   1,116

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold steady and bulls sold 
1.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed. 
The supply included 7 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers 
and 46 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
