SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (889), 
WINONA (238), PHILADELPHIA (453), and BROOKHAVEN (190) ON 
Tues Aug 1, 2017

Receipts:       1,770         Last Week:      1,215        Last Year:    1,482

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
