SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (657) and 
COMO (135) ON Wed Jul 26, 2017

Receipts:         792          Last Week:     1,055        Last Year:   511

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 t0 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 15.00 higher and heifers 
sold 1.00 to 8.00 higher. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 18 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 63 percent steers 
and 37 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
