SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,539), 
FOREST (1,764), MERIDIAN (352), MACON (585), HOUSTON (198), 
WEST POINT (322), AND GRENADA (93) ON Mon Jul 10, 2017.

Receipts:     4,853           Last Week:       0        Year:     3,845

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers sold 4.00 to 8.00 lower and heifers sold 2.00 to 7.00 lower. 
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 60 percent 
steers and 40 percent heifers, with an estimated 16 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
