SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,290), 
FOREST (1,750), MERIDIAN (158), MACON (426), HOUSTON (177), 
WEST POINT (430), AND GRENADA (152) ON Mon Jun 12, 2017.

Receipts:     4,383           Last Week:      3,929        Year:      3,531

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 8.00 lower and 
heifers sold 1.00 to 7.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 63 percent 
steers and 37 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
