SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN SENATOBIA (375) ON Thurs
March 23, 2017

Receipts:       375        Last Week:      205          Last Year:    128

   Compared to last Thursday, slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher and 
bulls sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher mixed 
and hefiers sold steady. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 percent heifers, 
with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
