SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (756), 
WINONA (164), PHILADELPHIA (394), and BROOKHAVEN (87) ON 
Tues March 7, 2017

Receipts:       1,401         Last Week:      1,174        Last Year:    1,408

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher and 
bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 9 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
