SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN SENATOBIA (262) ON Thurs
March 2, 2017

Receipts:       262        Last Week:      454          Last Year:    204

   Compared to last Thursday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 6.00 higher 
and hefiers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 8 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 66 percent steers and 34 percent heifers, 
with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
