SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (587)
ON Wed February 22, 2017

Receipts:        587          Last Week:      661        Last Year:   360

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 to 6.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 t0 10.00 higher 
and hefiers sold 1.00 to 7.00 higher. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 19 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers 
and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 13 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
