SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (931), 
FOREST (820), MERIDIAN (162), MACON (418), HOUSTON (360), 
WEST POINT (262), AND GRENADA (188) ON Mon February 20, 2017.

Receipts:     3,141           Last Week:      2,901        Year:      2,735

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and heifers sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 60 percent 
steers and 40 percent heifers, with an estimated 7 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
