SUMMARY OF 8 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (909), 
FOREST (1,005), MERIDIAN (89), MACON (459), HOUSTON (259), 
WEST POINT (164), GRENADA (101) AND CATTLEMENS (344) ON Mon December 5, 2016.

Receipts:     3,330           Last Week:     5,349       Year:   3,900

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold 
steady. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 60 percent 
steers and 40 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
