SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,155), 
FOREST (1,378), MERIDIAN (139), MACON (676), HOUSTON (346), 
WEST POINT (151) AND GRENADA (-) ON Mon July 11, 2016.

Receipts:     3,845           Last Week:    0       Last Year:   2,884

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers sold steady 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 8 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 61 percent 
steers and 39 percent heifers, with an estimated 13 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
