SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (596), 
WINONA (167), PHILADELPHIA (600), BROOKHAVEN (76), and MIZE (83) on 
Tues June 21, 2016

Receipts:        1,522         Last Week:      1,357       Last Year:   1,979

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher and 
bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower 
and heifers sold 4.00 to 8.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 7 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 51 percent steers and 49 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
