SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,334), 
FOREST (995), MERIDIAN (183), MACON (317), HOUSTON (131), 
WEST POINT (112) AND GRENADA (139) ON Mon Apr 11, 2016.

Receipts:     3,211           Last Week:     2,474       Last Year:   2,670

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold 
1.00 to 10.00 lower. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 16 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent 
steers and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 20 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
