SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,254), 
FOREST (1,773), MERIDIAN (144), MACON (672), HOUSTON (475), 
WEST POINT (475) AND GRENADA (521) ON September 14, 2015.

Receipts:     5,314         Last Week:     3,947       Last Year:   5,100

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady
few 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent 
steers and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
