SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (1,104), 
WINONA (310), PHILADELPHIA (687), BROOKHAVEN (319), and MIZE (176) on 
TUESDAY, August 18, 2015

Receipts:       2,596         Last Week:       1,489        Last Year:   2,472   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold 
2.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 58 percent steers and 42 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 13 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
