SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (731),

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 8.00 to 40.00 lower 
and hefiers sold 5.00 to 25.00 lower. 
The supply included 5 percent slaughter cows and 24 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 63 percent steers and 
37 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
